More Than A Simple Yes-or-No
As my Dad’s (Will’s) rodding sessions progressed during 2006, he experienced an increasingly conscious connection with what he could best describe as the spirituality of the universe. Over time, he also had experiences with the spirits of his wife’s Grandma, (her spiritual guardian) and Baby William (his stillborn grandson, and our Barber family’s guardian angel). During this time, his rodding sessions had consisted mostly of asking questions which were answered by the rods moving to a Yes ( ← → ) or No ( → ← ) position.
In November 2006, he experienced more than yes-or-no responses by the rods as the spontaneous movements stopped in other positions. For instance, the rods stopped in these positions: ( → → ), then ( ← ← ), then ( ↓ ↓). After reflection, he asked through the rods:
Will: Am I to understand from these rod positions that more than yes and no communications through the rods are possible?
Response: The rods moved and stopped at the Yes position ( ← → ).
Will: Is this understanding accurate?
Response: The rods rotated and stopped at the Yes position.
Will: Is this understanding spiritually sound?
Response: The rods again rotated and stopped at the Yes position.
Inspired by this experience, he explored that rods might move to numbers positioned (1 to 12) as on the face of a clock, so that he could receive numerical messages.
Will: Can I access conscious communication through more than yes or no questions?
Response: The rods moved to the Yes position.
Will: May I use the clock positions to represent 1 through 12 for numerical responses?
Response: Yes.
Will: May I ask a few numerical questions?
Response: Yes.
Will: What is the year of my birth?
Response: The rods correctly moved and stopped consecutively at the positions: 1 9 3 1
Will What is the year of Baby William’s stillbirth?
Response: Again the rods correctly moved and stopped at the positions: 1 9 9 7
In a subsequent experience, he sought further confirmation of the validity of these numerical questions by asking to move to unrequested number-positions that he would recognize as meaningful. To his astonishment, the rods consecutively moved and stopped at:
Response: 6 2 8 1 9 5 8 (The date of Will and Pat’s marriage)
I will always be amazed and thankful for the integrity of Dad’s pursuit of spiritual rodding and the inspirations that further facilitated our communication abilities far beyond Yes or No responses. First, with the introduction of numerical responses, and eventually with alphabetic responses as I will explain in our next blog post.
